KBM Prelim 1: Results 49-54

The road is starting to get brighter

Kazehaya Shota from Kimi ni Todoke of group 52 is today’s man to pay close attention to, having the highest vote count since the fifth groupings that contained popular and familiar names of the Gintama cast. In a cute way of stating things, his votes are just a bit higher than Kuronuma Sawako of Group 38 in the seventh groupings. They truly are meant for each other. In any case, while Shouta is having a good time, the majority of people today are not, considering that most of them are under the 150 zone in terms of vote numbers. Characters such as Tsuchimikado Motoharu from Toaru Majutsu no Index of Group 52 and Tony Tony Chopper from ONE PIECE and Echizen Ryoma from Prince of Tennis, both of Group 53, need to step on their game a bit more. While being in the 140 mark is considered solid enough to be a contender, they cannot slack off too much; otherwise, they will fall behind without a second notice.

Slowly, and possibly surely, things are starting to go towards the right direction. Vote totals have steadily gone higher, and there is hope that it will continue to increase as times moves on. Even if just a few more members found spare time to vote, as long as the trend continues, we may see better results. With none of the totals at 700, we may also see the zone where the number will fall on from now on. While I have mentioned earlier that the trend is within the range of 700-900, it does not hurt to bump it a bit higher. I am hoping, by the end of the first prelims, that the range would be between 800-1000 and more, if likely. While having a higher range means characters like Nara Shikamaru from Naruto, Seiji Yagiri from Durarara!!, and Tweedle Dee from Alice in the Country of Hearts have a lower chance at getting a shot at the major title, having more people is not a bad idea here.
