KBM: Preliminary 1: Results 17-24

The number of ties here are starting to get a bit out of proportioned, but with few people in the voting room now than when this first started, such closeness in numbers should have been more apparent. Still, I think this was the first time I got to see so many ties in one string of group votes.

Nakano Azusa bring her K-On game on as she takes first place in her group as well as today’s overall high score for today at 94 votes. This should give some K-On! fans a decent morale boost for the remaining matches to come. Hanekawa Tsubasa adds on as a possible contender for the title at 92 votes, giving Nisemonogatari more of a reason to be feared by everyone else. Other characters wishing to show of their greatness is Chitanda Eru, whose curiosity brings her at 85 votes and first place in her group as well as IS member Charlotte Dunois, gaining 83 votes and first place in hers.

As I have said before, the number of ties that are shown in today’s match surprised me most of all. Maybe today’s groups of people are not really as catching as previous ones were. In any case, In group 19,  Myodoin Itsuki of Precure and Itou Kanae of Amagami SS both take fourth place at 22 votes. More surprisingly so, Group 20 has six girls in the game with Makino Ruki, Tatsumiya ManaTakahashi Chiaki, and Sakai Chigusa all receiving third place at 24. However, with the increasing number of ties comes the need to remove the lowest voted girls from getting to the next stage. These girls need to be careful not to tie themselves to a loss.
