Now that I know clearly the format of Preliminary 1 and have some reliable data to go with other than the Nomination page, I can finally get some estimated guesses that are higher in accuracy than previously. Even then, there are chances where things can be wrong. Of course, the ball has just started rolling, so it may be still unclear to tell who is going to be where in terms of ranking. In any case, here are my predictions for the third day of fantasy.
Nova 1: Anjō Naruko vs. Haruna vs. Iwasawa Asami vs. Shinonome Hakase vs. Shiomiya Shiori vs. Tachibana Kanade vs. Yarizui Sen – Again, it is pretty obvious that Kanade is going to win this one. As for who is going to be second, I have no choice but to choose Asami. With her performance against Homura, it may be that AB! still has enough strength to get their supporting character into the game next year. As for third, it is a toss-up between Haruna and Shori. I would like it if Shiori were third, but Haruna might take that spot. I can only hope.
Nova 2: Gokō Ruri (Kuroneko) vs. Haqua du Lot Herminium vs. Horizon Ariadust (P-01s) vs. Laura Bodewig vs. Oshimizu Nako vs. Tōwa Erio vs. Yamada Aoi – Again, there is no doubt in my mind that Ruri is going to win this one. Second place should easily go to Erio. For third place, it looks highly certain that it would be Haqua.
Nova 3: Amami Haruka vs. Eucliwood Hellscythe vs. Hakamada Hinata vs. Kaga Rin vs. Mikazuki Yozora vs. Sakura Kyōko vs. Ueno Kirika – Eucliwood should have this one without any problems. Second place seems to favor Yozora. As for third place, it may be a bit trickier. Again, every PMMM girl not named Homura is weaker than considered. Still, I have enough reason to believe that Kyouko would get third place. I do not see anyone who would also get third place. Maybe Hinata?
Nova 4: Amaha Miu vs. Hotogi Shirayuki vs. Kaname Madoka vs. Sena Airi vs. Suzutsuki Kanade vs. Uryū Minene vs. Yui – Again, a no-brainer that Yui is going to win this. Second place would most likely go to Madoka. Considering that Madoka is much stronger than Mami, Kanade may not be able to beat her in second place. However, she could get close to her in third place.
Nova 5: Fear Kubrick vs. Hoshii Miki vs. Kasugano Sora vs. Nakamura Yuri vs. Reki vs. Tomoe Mami vs. Toshinō Kyōko – Yuri should have no trouble getting this match. Second place is more or less likely going to be Fear. Third place might be a bit tricky at first glance, but in the end, it may be easier than one thinks. I believe that Sora would get third place. I sadly do not believe Mami has the strength to take her down. She could get close, but that may be as far as she could go.
Nova 6: Charlotte Dunois vs. Himeji Mizuki vs. Honma Meiko vs. Ika-Musume vs. Inui Sana vs. Nanasaki Ai vs. Shimada Minami – Charlotte is going to win this one; that much can be said without question. Menma would be taking second place here. As for third, I am leaning towards Mizuki, but she may get a split vote from Minani. If if were not for Minami, I would have placed her as third. Ika-musume has a good chance of being third with this possible split, but I more reason to believe that she might be fourth.
Stella 7: Akiyama Mio vs. Fate Testarossa vs. Hanekawa Tsubasa vs. Hyūga Hinata vs. Illyasviel von Einzbern vs. Sakurano Kurimu vs. Tainaka Ritsu – Mio is easily going to win this one. Second place seems to be for Illyasviel. Third place is quite trickier than I would expect it to be. While it is clear that Fate is losing her strength, she may not have fallen as far as one would have hoped. Since she lost to Tsumugi by a close margin, there may be a chance that he is stronger than Ritsu, who is the weakest of the K-On! band. For now, Ritsu is my guess for third, but I wish to be wrong here.
Stella 8: Alice vs. Fujibayashi Kyō vs. Hoshina Utau vs. Kanzaki Kaori vs. Maria vs. Sakagami Tomoyo vs. Suzumiya Haruhi – This seems too easy to predict. Without a doubt, Haruhi would get first place. Tomoyo and Kyou are going to take second and third place, but they are quite equal in terms of strength. I am going with Tomoyo taking second and Kyou taking third.
Stella 9: Furukawa Nagisa vs. Haibara Ai vs. Hiiragi Tsukasa vs. Kamio Misuzu vs. Konjiki no Yami vs. Kotegawa Yui vs. Senjōgahara Hitagi – Hitagi is easily going to win this one. Nagisa is more likely to take second place than anyone else. Third place may be a bit hard to predict since Yami, Tsukasa, and Yui are not too far away in terms of strength. I would have to go to Yami for she is the most popular coming out from her recent series (compared to Lucky star).
Stella 10: C.C. vs. Furude Rika vs. Hinamori Amu vs. Kinomoto Sakura vs. Nymph vs. Sengoku Nadeko vs. Suiseiseki – There is no doubt in my mind that Nadeko is going to win this. Second place would most likely go to C.C. As for third place, my guess is on Rika, but there is a chance that Nymph may get the upper hand here. It may result to a coin flip by the end of this one.
Stella 11: Ikaros vs. Kawashima Ami vs. Kuronuma Sawako vs. Lucy Heartfilia vs. Ryūgū Rena vs. Saber vs. Tōsaka Rin – I believe it is clear as day that the Fate/stay night team are going to win with Saber at first and Rin at second. Third place would most likely be Ikaros. I highly doubt anyone here is able take her down from that position.
Stella 12: Hirasawa Yui vs. Ibuki Fūko vs. Ichinose Kotomi vs. Kuchiki Rukia vs. Lala Satalin Deviluke vs. Last Order vs. Uiharu Kazari – Yui will win this one, without a shadow of a doubt. For second place, I am leaning towards Last Order. While I still believe something happened to Nagi during the voting phase that made her have such a low score, I do not see anyone else who has what it takes to beat her. Maybe Kotomi, but I have her in third more so than second.
